Bridal Shower’s are something every bride-to-be looks forward to as it is a chance for her to celebrate one of the most important events in her life with close family and friends.

A Bridal Shower is very similar to a Kitchen Tea as it is a planning of a gift giving party. When planning a Bridal Shower remember to keep the brides interests in mind and what she will enjoy. Try to keep your guest lists small, 20 or under is a good number. Showers should be an intimate get together where the women can come together, gossip and discuss wedding plans. Most of all ensure that your bride to be has no planning to do. This should be her chance to relax.

Some great themes for Bridal Showers are to host a winery party, garden party, book club, relaxation party, champagne breakfast, barbeque lunch, sit down evening meal or even a pyjama party. It’s a time to play games to get all involved and have a laugh with family and friends. A bridal shower can take place the week before the wedding day or up to six months before. It can be a surprise shower or maybe the bride will know every detail - it's up to you!
